"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." - Joshua 1:9
The Lord Jesus put it this way: “Lo, I am with you always, to the end of the earth.”
His Apostle Paul said, “If God is for us, who can be against us?”
Obviously he wasn’t saying we would not face opposition; the Bible is full of warnings that “in the World you will have tribulation...” But the next thing the Lord said after that warning was, “...but don’t be afraid; I have overcome the World.”
The Lord of the universe, who has overcome the World, is with you wherever He sends you and you have nothing to fear. Your life, your family, your health and reputation, and the supply of everything you need is in His hands, and you have His promise to never leave you nor forsake you. Just stay close to Him; hold tightly to His hand.
Lord Jesus, I know You will keep Your promises to me. Forgive my doubts and fears; keep me close to You as we step into what comes next. Amen.
