"I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you." - Jeremiah‬ ‭31:3‬ "Light is sown for the righteous, and joy for the upright in heart." - Psalm‬ ‭97:11‬ God’s love never ceases. It never fails. His love to you is a constant. He knows your griefs and understands your sorrows, and He calls you to Himself. After we come, we look back and discover that He has been tenderly guiding us to Himself for a long time, long before we were aware of it. After we surrender to Him we find that life is full of unexpected delights: joy where there was no joy before, light where there used to be darkness. Even the hard times are turned into times of new discovery of God’s purpose and we discover that even these times have meaning. What we thought was chaos was still under God’s control, woven into His plan, and fulfills a good and loving purpose by His mercy. Lord, You have made us for Yourself, and we find rest, purpose and meaning when we find You. Be with me today; fulfill Your purpose and plan in me today, in Jesus’ name. Amen. Pastor Dan Giles
