The world is in the throes of an epidemic that is predicted to take hundreds of thousands of lives over the next few weeks. We are all taking the recommended precautions to help slow it down while wise and learned men desperately search for a cure, a treatment, and ultimately a vaccination.

The prophet Daniel, who was a wise and learned scientist in his day, reminds us where such knowledge comes from. God is the one who reveals mysteries.

In our pride we had come to a place where we expected Science to provide us with all the answers. We had even begun to presume to correct what we had begun to regard as mistakes in God’s Word, when our scientists claimed that they knew better.

Now we are where we should have been all along; on our knees, crying out to God that He would reveal to our scientists the mystery of how to combat this disease.

And so we pray: "𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙙𝙤𝙢, 𝙇𝙤𝙧𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙞𝙙𝙙𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨; 𝙬𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙜𝙣𝙞𝙯𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙡𝙚𝙙𝙜𝙚 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙬𝙞𝙨𝙙𝙤𝙢 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙔𝙤𝙪.
