"In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace, which he lavished upon us..." - Ephesians‬ ‭1:7-8‬

God has lavished His grace upon us in Christ. He pours out His forgiveness, more than what is needed to wipe away our sin. "Where sin abounded, grace abounded all the more.”

This week as we think of the cost of our salvation, paid by the Lord Himself, we remember how great, how thorough, and how perfect that salvation is. God has lavished His grace upon us.

Lord Jesus, thank You for thoroughly wiping out the stain of my sin. Thank You for removing it from me “as far as the East is from the West.” Thank You for loving me. Amen!
