[I pray] “...that according to the riches of His glory He may grant you to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians‬ ‭3:16-19‬

When our faith is strengthened by the power of the Spirit of God, the presence of Christ is seen, Indwelling our hearts. To be filled with the Holy Spirit is to be filled with Jesus. If we are full of Jesus our lives will be “rooted and grounded in love.”

When we live rooted and grounded in love, we begin to see a clearer picture of God. We begin to see Jesus more clearly, and get a clearer understanding of the greatness of His love for us - and for other people, too. That will change the way we think and act and relate to people.

How do we show the love of Jesus when we’re under quarantine, unable to gather for church, avoiding unnecessary contact with people?

Jesus is the Lord of His church. If we ask Him how He wants us to do that, He will. The answer will be different for each one and new every day. God is always creative. Getting that answer requires that we spend time listening to Him as we pray and prayerfully read His Word.

Take the time for it! It beats television, surfing the Internet, and even reading books. This is a golden opportunity for us to practice the art of getting our direction from the Lord Jesus, each day.
