“May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.” - 2 Peter 1:2
“This is eternal life:” the Lord Jesus prayed, “that they know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom You have sent.” (John 17:3)
Knowing God; knowing Jesus, the Savior, reveals God’s grace to us. Grace is the lovingkindness of God that results in undeserved forgiveness, acceptance, blessings of every sort, and strength for the day. Grace results in peace: peace with God and the peace in our lives that comes from knowing Him.
God wants to multiply His grace and peace in your life. He wants you to know Him and for you to experience the assurance and peace that come from knowing Him.
Lord Jesus, reveal Yourself to me. Let Your grace be “multiplied” to me as I get to know You, as You cover my sin and guilt and wash it all away in Your blood. Let Your peace fill my life as You lead me through each day. I need You, Lord. Amen.
