So Peter opened his mouth and said: "Truly I understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him." - Acts‬ ‭10:34-35

"O Lord our God, you answered them; you were a forgiving God to them, but an avenger of their wrongdoings." - ‭Psalm‬ ‭99:8‬ God reveals Himself as benevolent, forgiving, accepting all who come to Jesus in repentance and faith. He also takes a personal interest in everyone who comes to Him, as a loving Father takes a personal interest in the development of each of his own children. He corrects us when we disobey, even as He loves and forgives us. There will be consequences to sin, because He cares about us, the sinners. He cares about how you live. He cares about the way you grow, and about how you will “turn out.” As a loving Father He cares about you, His child. Father, You have made me Your own child through Christ. You have accepted me in spite of my sin, and You have promised to take me in hand for my good. Lord, let Your work have its effect in my life. Give me grace to respond to Your correction and become what You envision for me, for Jesus’ sake. Amen. Pastor Dan Giles
