“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil..”

‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭30:15 ‭ESV‬‬

God has always made His way clear to us.  He wrote His Law on our hearts at creation. He gave us the much clearer and unmistakable revelation of His will in the Bible.

But the treachery of our sinful hearts and the weakness of our flesh have conspired to confuse us about the most basic concepts of right and wrong, draw us into rebellion against God’s authority and cause us to stumble into sinful patterns even when we know better.

“God remembers our frame; He knows we are but dust,” the Psalm says.  We have a Savior who understands our weakness and calls us to return to Him.  He meets us with forgiveness and mercy, and gives us His Holy Spirit to strengthen us in our weakness.

Stay close to Jesus!  There is always peace in His presence, healing for our wounds and strength for today.

Lord Jesus, Thank you for accepting me.  Keep me close to you today.
