“Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭2:3-4‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

In times like these, many are fearful of what might happen to them.  We are called to look out for each other and see to each other’s needs, not just our own.

If your life is hidden with Christ in God, you have nothing to fear.  Nothing can touch you without His loving permission.

That doesn’t mean we should be careless or unwise but it definitely removes the fear as we go about our lives as wisely as possible, by Gods grace.

It is such a privilege to be a part of this congregation, a body of Christians who are actively keeping track of each other, praying for one another, and looking for ways to serve each other.  Now more than ever we appreciate the Body of Christ!

If you need anything or can offer help to anyone else, please don’t hesitate to call the church office at (480) 981-3993.  Next week when the office is closed and we will be working from home, the phones will still work and we will be able to answer.

Lord Jesus, we pray that you would protect each member and friend of Calvary.  Keep us aware of each one’s needs so that no one ”falls through the cracks.”  Give us hearts that listen to the promptings of your Holy Spirit, and fill our hearts and minds with creative ways to serve one another during these days.  Amen!
