"Your commandment makes me wiser than my enemies, for it is ever with me." - Psalm‬ ‭119:98‬

God’s Word gives you more wisdom than the wisest human counselor can ever give. Hide it in your heart by memorizing it and you will have a counselor who is always with you, instructing you, guiding your decisions, keeping you on the right path. God’s Word is the means by which the Holy Spirit will speak in your heart to give you the guidance, correction and comfort that you need, every step along the way.

Fill your heart with it each day. Keep the fountain of God’s wisdom flowing through your heart. If memorizing doesn’t come easy for you, don’t worry about that; just be even more careful to read from the Bible as you start your day. The Holy Spirit will remind of you what you need, when you need it.

“The Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.” (John‬ ‭14:26‬) Give Him something to remind you of, and He will do it.

Thank You, Lord, for giving me Your Holy Spirit, and for the clear light of Your Word to guide me in this life. Thank you for always being with me, for never leaving me. Guide my thoughts, my decisions and my words today. Keep me close, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
