"They will make war on the Lamb, and the Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings, and those with him are called and chosen and faithful." - Revelation‬ ‭17:14‬

“They” (the Beast or the antiChrist and the world government that is loyal to him), make war on the Lamb, the Lord Jesus. Of course they can’t touch Him, so they attack His Body, the Church.

Jesus said to Saul of Tarsus, the persecutor of Christians, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” And when Saul asked Him who He was, He replied, “I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom you are persecuting.” To attack us is to attack the Lord Himself. This is the reality in which we live.

The end of it all is given to us in this verse as well: “The Lamb will conquer them, for he is Lord of lords and King of kings.” But there’s more! Another reason why the Lamb will conquer the antichrist and the world: “…and those with him are called and chosen and faithful. In Revelation 12:11 it says, “And they have conquered him (the devil) by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.” The Devil, the World and our sinful flesh are conquered by the meek Lamb of God and His humble followers because He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and because we who follow Him are called and chosen and faithful. “For everyone who has been born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith.” (1 John‬ ‭5:4‬) Trusting Jesus overcomes it all. Hang in there, dear Brother, dear Sister; trust Him and do it His way, and you will be victorious. Lord Jesus, sometimes the World, the devil and my own sinful flesh seem overwhelming. I don’t know how I can possibly get through what they are throwing at me. But I trust You, so I will follow You and do it Your way. I know I can’t lose if You will just keep me close. Amen.
