"But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus." - Ephesians‬ ‭2:4-7‬

“Immeasurable” means that the enormity of His grace (His unearned love and forgiveness toward you) is deeper than you can ever plumb, more than you can ever find out. You’ll never discover the end of it.

God’s purpose in saving you and me is to show the immeasurable riches of His grace toward us throughout eternity, by being kind to us. And His plan is not just to show His kindness to you in this life. He wants to continue doing that forever, because the glory of God is seen in His grace toward you. Difficult for us to grasp as we consider the holiness and majesty of God, but that’s the way it is. Father, it has pleased You to reveal Your Son to me. In your loving kindness You have chosen to receive me as a beloved child, for Jesus’ sake. Your grace is unfathomable. I worship You. Keep me close. Amen. Pastor Dan Giles
