"Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation."

‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭12:1-2‬

To us who believe, Jesus becomes:

My Strength - His presence in my heart gives me the strength to face temptation and every kind of trial, upholds me when I stumble and picks me up when I fall.

My Song - He fills my heart with the joy, of knowing I am forgiven, accepted, received as a beloved child, and loved unconditionally.

My Salvation - His blood cleanses me from the guilt of every sin and delivers me from condemnation; His powerful right arm delivers me from every danger and every enemy that threatens my soul.

So I can say, “Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid.”

Lord God, Lord of all and Lord of my life, take me through this day by your mercy and grace. Strengthen me when I am tempted, forgive my sinful weakness, pour strength and joy into me by your Holy Spirit. You are my strength, my song and my salvation. Amen!
