“𝙎𝙚𝙚 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙛 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙁𝙖𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙝𝙖𝙨 𝙜𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙤 𝙪𝙨, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙗𝙚 𝙘𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙡𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙣 𝙤𝙛 𝙂𝙤𝙙; 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙨𝙤 𝙬𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙚.” 1 John 3:1
God’s love never ceases to amaze me. The longer I serve Him the more wonderful it is that He still hasn’t given up on me. His patience with my failures and His readiness to forgive just continue.
That a such a man as I should be called a child of God, received into His family and treated with such kindness is impossible to imagine; yet so it is.
Every time I fall into sin, He tenderly calls me to repentance and reassures me of His forgiveness; just the way a loving Father does with his dear child.
“... and so we are.” He has not only called us his children; He has actually made us his children.
